She is well known for her micaceous clay pots and Nativity Scenes as well as her storytellers, in which a figure sits and sings stories to the children gathered in her arms. This doll has three babies, and balances a basket of corn on her lap as well. She is made of locally collected micaceous clay, natural pigment paint, turquoise beads, 4 x 6 x 5 ¾ inches, signed “J Suazo Dubray ‘04” on the bottom.
