Pet Friendly Taos

In Taos we Love our animals, whether you live here and have wondered about where you can bring your dog, or if on vacation here with your pet, here's a list that hopefully you will find helpful.
Taos has a lot of visitors from the 'drive circle' many bring their dogs on vacation with them. There had been a movement to promote Taos as Pet Friendly, expectations have not quite been met. Many Taos business owners allow dogs on a leash, most restaurants that have patio space allow well behaved dogs to join owners  at table side. Some do not, at this time Guadalajara Grill, Pizanos Pizza and Love Apple, although they have patios, do not allow dogs. Incidents happen and rules change, a restaurant may say yes they allow pets and change their policy quickly after an ill mannered incident occurs. Liability becomes an issue. A business is 100% liable for any damage done by a dog, so please in order to keep Taos pet friendly, I implore you to train and restrain your dog. Let's keep improving Taos as a Pet Friendly place for all. Please Note: Do NOT lock your animal in your car, it is against the law.

All businesses and restaurants by law must allow a service animal into their establishment.

If you know of a restaurant that is not on this list that does allow pets or if any of these restaurants no longer allow pets, please let me know at r2c2graces@gmail.com thank you for your help.
